I first began shooting when I was rafting down the great wolf river. I saw a mouse perfectly silhouetted by the sun amongst some fallen trees and stopped to snap a photo. That was my first foray into traveling photography. Since then, things have gotten a tad bit sexier I’ll admit, but I’m a firm believer that the true root of photography is to capture more than just a moment in time, it is to convey the essence of that momentary emotion that is all too quickly fleeting in those few seconds, never to happen again. As I delve further into boudoir photography, I see so often the primary focus in the industry is the physical attributes the model has to offer, but the artistry seems to be sadly neglected. It is my goal to have the one pure moment in time be the focus, and boobies are just a bonus. Being colorblind, I often focus primarily on black and white portraiture, and I feel like this potentially forces me to focus more on shadow and depth, leading lines and posing, than I generally see. I am extraordinarily grateful to all of the models and photographers that have helped me, believed in me and taught me along the way. I would not be who I am or where I am without them.  -Chinchilla
